Waylon Jennings

Waylon-JenningsSongwriter Waylon Jennings was born 15 June 1937 10:30am in Littlefield Texas (Rodden Rating :AA; Collector Przybylowski)  with hard working Jupiter in Capricorn. By the time of his first Jupiter return, his career as a performer was well established. Jupiter in Capricorn pupils (ruled by Saturn) understand the art of the business deal and can easily decide whether a task is going to be good for their careers–or not.

At the age of 21, when transiting Jupiter was conjunct his natal Uranus, Waylon ‘lost’ the coin toss that would have secured his seat on the ill-fated plane that crashed with Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens as well as the pilot Roger Peterson aboard.

An audio recording of “The Day the Music Died” at the Astrological Association’s conference is available here (recording Y962).
